Within the world of experiential marketing, its important to take simple ideas and make them unique (*simplique) and customizable to the brand. Simple ideas are at times the most effective. The following video clip is a perfect example of taking a simple idea and making it extremely unique.
In order to create a hype around the launch of a Belgium TV channel called TNT, a big red button was placed in the middle of a tiny quiet Flemish town. The sign was shaped like an arrow and pointed directly to the button with the text “push to add drama.” Due to the inquisitive nature of humans, it was just a waiting game to see who would end up pushing the button, and when it was finally pushed, cue the drama!
